Equity-Based Discounts and Waivers

Authors based in low- and middle-income countries may be eligible for an APC reduction of up to 20 percent, subject to editorial assessment and available resources.

Invited articles, including selected invited Perspectives and Opinion Articles, may be fully exempt from APCs.

APC payments do not influence editorial decisions.
